The Freedom Christian Academy Patriots Varsity and Middle School softball teams compete at the beautiful Freedom Field built in 2012. Outdoor field lighting was added to the fields in 2024.
The softball program has been a perennial contender in the NCISAA and Cumberland County with a strong history of championship play and championship players.
Freedom's Varsity softball teams have participated in five State Championships, and have won three NCISAA State Titles.
