The Lower School at Freedom Christian Academy seeks to create an environment that nurtures our students’ love of learning and love of the Lord.  We lay foundational skills to give our students a strong start in their educational journey. A love of learning is fostered through multi-sensory experiences that make learning memorable and fun. Our students also have the unique opportunity to experience high quality academics aligned with standards, but we also have the freedom to select curriculum that supports a Biblical worldview.  We use BJU Press texts as the primary base of our curriculum, which provide a Biblical worldview while building essential skills and critical thinking.

Our Lower School students participate in daily special resource classes including physical education, art, music, media, and social-emotional learning.  They also participate in chapel services weekly, where students are excited to worship the Lord with their whole hearts and apply His Word to their lives.  We believe it is important to raise well-rounded citizen leaders, and that starts in their early years.

Currently, we have two to three class sections for each in the Lower School. Class sizes can range 15 to 22 students on average.
