PTO

Freedom’s PTO plays a vital role in the life of the school. It serves primarily in three ways:

  1. a conduit and liaison for relationship building within the parent-body of FCA
  2. the organization for parent support by encouraging parenting skills
  3. the major fundraising committee to help meet special needs of the school

The general PTO encourages all parents, grandparents, and guardians to attend its three meetings throughout the year. (usually September, January, and April) The meetings are designed around a theme for the year to enhance the well being of its families.

The theme for 2009-2010 was “Healthy body, healthy mind, healthy soul”.

The theme for 2010-2011 was “Parenting in the good times and the bad.”

The theme for 2011-2012 is “Who moved my cheese?”

The PTO Executive Board is an elected group of parents dedicated to serving the school with their leadership and organizational gifts.
