Competitions

 

Every year Freedom Christian encourages its students to compete in the ACSI academic contests to sharpen skills and promote accelerated learning. Freedom students have done extremely well as they compete annually in the following areas:

Elementary Spelling...grades 1-4
Middle School Spelling...grades 5-8
Math Olympics...grades 3-8
Creative writing...grades 5-8
Art...grades 3-8
Yearbook
Choir

 

In addition, national testing is required for students so progress can be monitored on a regular basis for individual students and curriculum adjustments can be made.

PSAT-October for Sophomores & Juniors
SAT/ACT testing-quarterly to college-bound students and TIP 7th grade winners
Terra Nova Achievement Tests and Otis-Lennon Ability Tests-April for grades 1-11
