Thank you for your interest in Freedom Christian Academy. Whether you are new to the area or a local resident looking for an academic home that better fits your family’s needs, we are here to help.

We have created a safe and nurturing environment that will both encourage and equip your student. We want what you want…a place that brings your child to his/her highest potential as they lead their life honoring the Lord. To accomplish this together, we look for families where at least one parent knows the Lord and is raising their children accordingly.

Our goal is to produce citizen-leaders of excellence, wisdom and Christian faith. If this is also your heart, will you consider enrolling with us? The following is a checklist of office requirements: admission forms are listed below or can be found on our site under Downloads, Admissions. You may also pick up forms in the FCA office. If you have any questions, would like a tour with our Admissions Counselor or would like a student visit, please call us at the school office at (910) 485-7777 and ask for Cheryl Harris.

THE BELOW ARE NEEDED BEFORE THE FAMILY INTERVIEW:
Copy of student birth certificate
Copy of immunization record
Copy of latest report card
Student evaluation form
Pastoral reference form
Developmental readiness or screening for lower elementary
Previous testing results

 

THE BELOW ARE NEEDED AFTER STUDENT IS OFFICIALLY ENROLLED:
Student medical form
Transcript request
Student Resource Fee of $275 for Elementary students and $300 for MS/HS students, due June 1
Capital Fund Fee $100 per student, or $200 maximum per family, due July 1

 

Just a reminder…children must be 5 years old by August 31 to enter Kindergarten. Exceptions may be granted by the Administration.

 

Freedom Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, or denomination to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students of the school.  Neither does FCA discriminate in the administration of its educational programs and admission policies.

 

Our Costs

• Application Fee: $75 – this non-refundable fee must be submitted with each application to Freedom Christian Academy. This fee covers the cost of processing, record transfers, screening/testing, interviewing, and billing. There is NO new-student fee.
  
• Student Resource Fee: $275 (Elementary) and $300 (MS/HS)– annual non-refundable fee covers books, handbooks, planners, and all office communications. This fee is due June 1
  
• Capital Fund Fee: $100 per student or $200 maximum per family – annual non-refundable fee covers costs for construction, improvement and maintenance of our new school, building, and grounds.
• Tuition Fee (10 months):
  K-4th $4200 or $420 per month
  5-8th $4300 or $430 per month
  9th+ $4400 or $440 per month
• Before-School-Care begins at 6am – 7:30am. Cost is $5 per child for FCA students only
• After-School-Care costs are $6.50 per day per child for FCA students only. A-S-C begins at 3:00pm if a student has not been picked up by a parent or acceptable guardian within that 15-minute timeframe. Students may not stay on campus unsupervised. If parents are late picking up their child after 6pm, a late fee of $5 per minute will be assessed.
• Meals: Our delicious hot lunch program is provided for $3 a day…we do not fry any food. Drinks and snacks at $1 each. Our meals are all homemade except Wednesdays when we serve carry-out food like pizza, etc. A monthly menu is always provided.
• Monthly payments are due the 1st of the month, for 10 months, beginning in August.
  3% discount if full tuition is paid by June 10
  Monthly tuition payments may be paid through a bank draft.
  The fee for NSF is $25 payable to Freedom Christian Academy
